What makes Suchit Mishana different from other agencies is that during the internship period, instead of doing the agency's work, they gave the interns the opportunity to choose an area of interest, work in that area, and bring about changes, and accepted the ideas put forward and provided the necessary support. ശുചിത്വമിഷനിലെ ഇന്റേൺഷിപ്പ് രാജാജി നഗറിലെ വേസ്റ്റ് മാനേജ്മെന്റിനെ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചായിരുന്നു. ഇൻെറൺസിനു പ്രൊഫഷണൽ ആയിട്ടുള്ള വികസനത്തിനായി മികച്ച രീതിയിലുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ കാഴ്ചവെക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു. ആദ്യമായി കൂട്ടായ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന്റെ ഫലമായി ഒരു സർവ്വേ നടത്തി രാജാജി നഗറിലെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളെ അറിഞ്ഞത്തിന് ശേഷം, നാല് മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. സ്ത്രീകൾ, യുവാക്കൾ, കുട്ടികൾ,കടകൾ എന്നീ മേഖലകൾ ആയിരുന്നു. അതിൽ കുട്ടികളിലൂടെ നടത്തിയ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലൂടെ വളർന്നു വരുന്ന പുതുതലമുറകൾക്കിടയിൽ മാലിന്യസംസ്കാരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു അവബോധം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയെടുക്കാൻ ഇതിലൂടെ സാധിച്ചു.

The internship with the Malinya Muktha Navakeralam campaign Secretariat was a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of the complex relationships between social justice, community development, and environmental sustainability. The team's efforts to engage marginalized communities, promote participatory governance, and advocate for policy changes profoundly impacted me. Through this internship, I gained hands-on experience in community organizing, social mobilization, and advocacy. I directly witnessed the impact of collective action on how a community can act as a medium for behavioral change towards proper waste management. This experience reinforced my conviction that social work and environmental sustainability are linked and helped me realize how a social work student can make the impossible possible. I returned to my studies with renewed passion and a clearer understanding of how to integrate environmental justice into my future social work practice. I highly recommend this internship to fellow social work students and professionals seeking to explore the interconnections between social justice, community development, and environmental sustainability.
